Quick update - Fly is fine, thank you chaps. Was back out in a couple of days and was putting squirrels in trees for me again! And putting pheasants up...more white meat in the freezer now. I was going to put something up abot the last day of the season, 2 partridges and 4 pheasants, a squirrel and a brace of collared doves, but only got a pic on the outside table afterwards and i didn't want to put up too many stories.

Thanks for your concern over the dog though. Much appreciated and i am glad to report all is well.

hi it was a very dark windy night on a saturday evening in febuary so i thought it would be a perfect night to go and do some rat shooting with my beloved bsa scorpion and then on to shooting some rabbits later that night so i called up my ** and said lets go out tonight and he laughed at me so i said we will start off doing the dirty rats then off too do some rabbits so off i went to meet him and then got to the dairy we shoot at and the floors were crawling with rats so we got set up and started doing our rounds and we were warned about a bull that was very aggressive and put his head down at any sight of a person inside the barn next to the milking parlour. so we decided to walking in the otherside of where the bull was and little did we know that there was a pregnant female 2foot away from the door that we didnt see as i walked through this female cow basically jumped to its feet and started coming at us so i thought sod that and pushe my ** out the way and was gone and left him behind and the he come running out and said i was wondering y u done that so that made us laugh a lil and about 30mins l8r a car decides to pull up so i went to see who it was and found that my dad wanted to pop down and have a go with my bsa so i said yea go on then and as we walked through we didnt tell him about the female cow we thought we would let his see her for himself lol but she wasnt there typical anyways we walked through further kept the lamp of for 2mins then when we turnt it on this rat come flying towards us and my dads dancing around trying to shoot at this thing at his feet lol maybe i should of told him the gun wasnt loaded lol one of the funniest nights ive had in ages but l8r that night i did get the rat i waiting for 30mins for that bugger lol

P.S RATTING IS AWESOME 12 RATS WITHIN 15MINS I WILL TRY AND GET SOME VIDS FOR YOU ALL AND NEVER BLOCK A RATS EXIT THEY WILL BITE 2012-02-04 19.52.55.jpg
