    Hi Den

Yes, I made it from some Birch ply from the scrap bin in our pattern shop, I used a gouge for the inletting then varnished it..

I had to make a stock for it as I acquired it with a broken stock, someone had hollowed out the rear part of the stock too much and it split in two!!!

This was pre-interweb days so finding a replacement stock wasn't as easy as it is now..

    Cheers, John

    Hi
    (if you mean me!!)

I burned it with a small butane pocket blowlamp in diagonal lines then rubbed it down with wire wool..

I then stained it and gave it another rub with wire wool..

I then oiled it each day for a fortnight and made sure to rub hard with my hand and get plenty of heat in to the wood..

I presume you used a blowlamp or heatgun for the stock??

I once finished an airsporter stock with a butane pencil type blowlamp, I put Tiger stripes in to it..

I didn't take any pics of the gun itself but it's the third gun along from the left in this pic..

    John
quite correct john, stock had black damp patches well and truely stained into it so i thought i would impovise to camoflague it lol
i've done a few with tiger stripes myself, makes them stand out
