    SA80 BB Rifle

This is my toy gun.. payd £25 for this thing. It came bright orange so i gave it a custom paint job & also a SMK 4x28 scope i picked up for bout a fiver on ebay as had missing caps.. high profile weaver mounts also bout fiver. Its single shot bolt action .. fires 0.20g BB's around 300 fps so its not bad for a bb gun i spose. It's a bit tricky to see through the scope unless you have it high on your shoulder as the sa80 was never designed to be a sniper rifle... still i find its fairly accurate at lower ranges. Was a fun little project to do & its a great gun for messing in the garden and stuff

Firstly good job mate! Looks good.

Secondly, now i'm not 100% on this as i haven't airsofted for a couple of years. But i thought it was illeagel to alter the colours on a two tone rif? Something in the vcra act? I'm sure someone on here knows for sure but better safe than sorry!

Yep your right mate, it is ilegal to change the colours on a two tone airsoft gun. This is unless you have a registred membership to an authorised airsoft site, which is a bit stupid when you can get a pistol that shoots .177 *** and it can be identical to the real thing (other than shooting).

yeah it prob is illegal but i just use it in the garden.. And where i live there isnt any neighbours or anything.. so i'll risk it for a biscuit. Sure if you took this thing down a busy street you would have a riot squad on your ass.
