Over the moon - First Weirauch HW95K

Hey guys chuffed to bits! So I finally joined the Weirauch club.

Last night I went and picked up a second hand Weirauch HW95K, absolute mint as new condition. I must admit its one of the nicest break barrels I have felt. The quality is exceptional and its so smooth to cock. Apparently the guy had a piston sleeve fitted to remove the twang (don't know if that's good or bad) only tried a few RWS superdomes through it this morning and it seems to group nicely. It shoots better than I do anyway.

The future of this gun will be to see how it beds in with a tin of pellets and then I might get it vmached. It does have a strong kick on it, it may be that I'm not used to the kick from using a pcp for a while who knows.

Two pictures for you even though its a bog standard gun. I especially love the trigger its so smooth. I want a no frills scope that I can easily use and chuck about. Was thinking of something similar to the simmons I just put on it to have a play but the reticle is blurry.

Also on the shopping list is an extra long gun bag. This thing is long! I like it though it is very well balanced.

excellent gun mate, the best break barrel I've ever used. The one I play with likes superdomes and h&n hollow points equally.

Thanks guys. I stripped my chinky If I manage to get that working successfully I think ill give the Vmach a try myself. Ive seen a video on youtube of a before and after and you can see the difference it makes in sound and recoil.

Very nice mate. I'm getting mine vmached next month along with some other work

I'm using superdomes in mine too.

What is the total length of your rifle? Mine fits into one of the Buffalo river bags (46") perfectly with scope on

looks lovely, esp that gold trigger. i was thinking of getting the hw95k, decided i wanted a fixed barrel rifle in the end... i'm new member of weirauch club also

i dont like simmons scopes.. maybe they used to be good but i've tried 2 that broke very easily.
