    and you use this garage regular ??? more fool you . find a better garage lol . personally i would of made her check the till there and then sod the cue . they would of given you the fiver back to save the hassle of checking the till if you stood your ground .

    I USED it regular yes, because I never had any problems. Now I've had a problem I won't use it again. So I'm not a fool

    I did stand my ground. But she was also standing hers. I knew I was right, 110% no doubt. But what else could I do? I can't make her check the till (I tried, she said they can't check it until the morning which was a LIE and he boss will be having words about that). I had 2 choices, smash the shop up and get arrested or let her have a moment and come back the next day with her knowing she was in the wrong, and hopefully feeling like a true idiot.

    If I'm paying with a ten or twenty, I always say "Can you change a ten/twenty ok?" in a loud enough voice so there's no mistake as to what's being handed over.
