    bye bye for a bit

iv got into some troubble with my nabours,
me and my friends where having a drink round mine and where in a good party mode an i realise that 2 of em are in the garden with my air rifle and i knew it was gona be bad as i keep it locked up (safe key is on my house keys) straight away i got the gun off em and saw that they shot the **** out the spire of the neibours concervatry (luckly my friends house was the the house past the concervatry and was a backstop). the party ended right there and kicked everyone out.
iv been round to my nabours house and told em straight what happened and take responsability as it was my gun. hes not taking it to the police but he wan't me to replace the spire and fix any other damage, iv brought my friends to him to make them apologise and hes accepted, their footing the costs im just repairing and installing. im also going to do his garden and anything he needs doing.
so my guns are going to my cousins who own a farm. im not giving up shooting i love it too much, iv started airsoft.
can admins not close this account as i may come back from time to time.
but not to worry i may come back in a year or so
    - shoot safe and stay safe!

I've always maintained that we, as airgunners, are responsible for our guns at all times.
It seems you've stood up for these responsibilities (apart from keeping the gun safe from untrained hands, a lesson learned there I should think).

As you will still have your guns for use albeit kept on a farm, you are still an airgunner and I don't see why you should keep away from the forum, in fact, I see a good reason for staying with the forum.

Very lucky escape there mate. Your "friends" deserved a good physical warning for that stunt!
I'm just glad to hear you got it all sorted, you've shown some real stones for apologising like that and it seems your neighbours have seen this. Well done

cheers guys that gives me a boost,
i do have a cabinet its just that they come shooting with me from time to time and my cabinet keys are on my car / house keys. im just crapping it if they have been shooting in a different direction which they said "no" in my area there are really good nabours and really bad nabours (moan about a bush being a bit too high) i still feel that the guns have to go to the farm as my garden is only small.
i still have the sickening feeling like losing your kid on holladay. *waits for police with a fist full of pellets to show up* yea i didnt shoot it, but i didn't keep the key safe/hidden as they knew that it was on my main key set, all i see is the nabours wife gettin the police involved. and im gona get bummed for the next 10 years in strangeways

Well lets hope thats the end of it eh? Maby keep your keys somewhere safer? But should be no reason to get rid of your rifles.
