Permission hunting, harsh words given! :@

Ok so I'm out asking for permissions as I realy am struggling to find one jar as it is to get one for anyone I am only 20 and look younger so I think this make it bad enough to find one!
But to make it worse I asked the owned of some stables if they had any Vermin problems and if they would like any free help. Also if they had an rabbit or pigeon issues on fields that I could help with be shooting them with an airgun for which I am fully insured.
The reply I got was (exact words):
"hahaha no thanks KID, you wind' find anyone that will humor you round here!!"
Needless to say I was disheartened! But I will continue!
    Rant over!
    Sorry to moan

sok mate it happend to me. seen a fella with his dogs and asked him who owned the fields near by. he gave a grin and ponted to himself. so asked if he wanted help with rabbit control, to witch he gave a cheeky smerk and said im not having anyone on my land. i said but you do know you have two many rabbits . he said i know but there my rabbits so keep off. he was very rude to me. and it put me off asking face to face. why cant they just say "no thanks

Because some people are s but you have to be thick skinned about it.

I think asking face to face still remains the best way. Lstick, the guy you spoke to didn't have a clue what he's talking about mate. The most recent permission I secured is an unfinished golf course that is riddled with bunnies. One of my other perms borders it and the owner pretty much said the same thing. "he wont have anybody with guns over there, waste of time asking! Don't bother (mumble mumble)" well I asked anyway and he just had one question "will you be on your own?" I said yes so he agreed straight away happy dayz!

The only way you won't get a permission is if you give up so just let it roll mate, they'll come

Pelllet on pellet at unlimited range regardless of conditions (yeah right)

Find a shoot by doing some beating, on a game shoot (its a-way of getting your foot in the door)

private owned scrapyards and tips are always over run with rats - if you just want shooting practice that is , but be prepared for the usual " gis a go of your gun mate " from the local tinkers in thier rigger boots

Dont worry about looking young for your age - I am 40 and as rough as a badgers arris and I get plenty of knockbacks - I asked a farmer last week ( well he was the owner - not a muddy boot in sight ) and his curt reply was No because he pays someone to do that sort of thing - yeah I was confused as well .
