all depends on how bad the wind is, it is all part of the fun learning to compensate for it, does not matter if you hunt or shoot ft/hft or outdoor target, you cant stop it, so get out there and send some pellets down range & remember if you hunt you MUST practice this on paper

accept the challange & have fun

But what if you know how much to compensate for and then the wind changes speed without you knowing then your gunna miss.

But what if the wind don't change and your going to hit? Is your glass always half empty?

    Practice on targets!

You wouldn't like to live in the Orkney's. Up here, wind is a factor every single day. It varies from 15 to 35mph without any warning (I don't even bother trying to shoot when it gets above 35), and the wind can change direction in less than half an hour - and back again! It is even worse in the Shetland's.

Well, at least it makes hunting more interesting.

I got sick of being surrounded by people. I am not a people person, so we moved here. Blissfully quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Not like anywhere else I have ever lived.

On a forum, it is different. I can switch off whenever I want. It is highly unlikely that anybody on here will drop in to my house unannounced for a brew and a chat. I have an element of control that isn't there in real life.
