Well on top off everything else ... 6AM the wind tears open my front door and smashes the glass , £120 plus Vat so pub opens so i go borrow some duk tape , and i get the bomb shell , already slowly been chipped away from 30 + hours to 18/20 then they take on a new couple , and low and behold im told il only be needed for 6 hours a week after we where all assured the new people wouldnt effect us . so that is what loyalty gets you , so iv now got to get by on £40 a week that doesnt even cover my rent !!!! so looks like im going to have to find another crappy live in dish pig job . ohh im going back into my cave .

Not sure what you want us to say, we all have bad times, find another job with more hours....we could all chime on about bad times, my 12 week old son was returned to us last week after meningitis treatment.....meh, the week before my daughter had surgery for a face injury.
You really beat yourself up over things fella, glass half full helps.

Blood hell rich, sorry to hear about your boy and daughter. Has he made a full recovery? I hope so mate! Is your daughter ok too? What ever happened hasn't scared her has it?

it seems to me you have paid enough into the system being a hard grafter so why not take something back and claim some benefits to help through these hard times until you find more hours

Paul, thanks mate, its been a hectic couple of weeks, I think I said my girl hurt herself falling off her pony, after weeks of waiting we've got her sorted. My lad....bloody hell...5 days of IV antibiotics, then surgery for a spinal abcess, but he's cool and dandy too now!

Glad everything worked out for your little ones mate , that must have been terrifying !!!! as for me just needed a vent , il get through , extended my over draft , im a grafter and im not going on benefits , id rather clean toiletts ,seen too many people get stuck in that vicouse circle and i have no dependants , no disrespect too anyone on benefits just not for me , not looking for sympathy , just needed to get it off my chestAbsolutely, grumpy, you can't live on what you earn, get to the CAB and see how we, the tax payers like yourself can help...
