So i would ask, why when she got this fantastic gift, did the lack of 3g upset her more than the excitment of receiving the i pad?
Does she understand how hard you have to work for your money?
Does she understand its a gift, and not a right?

Thanks for the advice guys I had words with her and then got her to ask what her friends got for Christmas she then realised what she had.
she is now having a stage of cannot do enough for us long may that last she is 14 now so it will only last untill the next fashion/makup/spot or boyfriend crisis she is a good girl and really doesn't cause us many problems .
Is also nagging me to take her hunting so cannot be bad.
No matter what she says or does I love her she's my little girl always will be can still wrap me round her little finger with a smile and a cuddle .

Kids get too much these days. Honestly if mine had moaned after buying them an iPad, I'd have taken them back. Your little girl may wrap you round her little finger but there comes a point where you need to say enough is enough. Heck, I can't afford an iPad for myself, nevermind for two of my kids. I think appreciation and thanks cost nothing and if mine ever acted ungrateful after I'd worked my backside off, they'd know about it. Pronto.
