Im a door supervisor which i do aswell as my doing my day job, i would not say im a thug far from it to be honest . I always try speaking to someone first if there being an idiot and if that fails then they get the Foggy loving.

There are a few guys i have worked with in the past who are a little hot headed but the majority of us are just doing a job, feel free to join me on a shift and see how people act and speaks towards me whilst they are drunk, i do very well to keep a level head in a lot of situations.

Not in the toilets chap, they should have some outside the toilets though.

Airgunwidow, if the police are dealing with it hopefully it should get sorted, the only problem you could have is that if i comes down to your daughter's word against the doorman's word police do tend to side with doorstaff usually because 9/10 customers who complain to police outside of venues are hammered and been asked to leave for a genuine reason.

Did your daughter ask to see the manager? If so he should have made the doorman in question fill in a report as is common practise for any incident that happens in a venue, unfortunately not every place will have this policy but the majority of venues will, also your daughter has the right by law to ask to for his SIA license number and can complain directly to the SIA which i would recommend she does as this **** (excuse my french) needs to be dealt with.

Here is a link for the SIA website she should return tonight and ask for his number (make sure he shows her his badge/license so she can write it down) http://www.sia.homeoffice.gov.uk/Pages/home.aspx .

Ensure she checks the date also and if its not in date or indeed he does not have a license report him for this also.

Ahh my mistake, still let your tell your daughters friend to report him, to be honest its not a bad job its just knowing how to deal with alot of drunk people, as i said earlier alot of people when you speak to them and explain they are acting like an idiot tend to listen and apologise for doing so, i dont really need to do the job as my Army wages are good but sod staying in and watching reality TV with the wife lol, and it pays for my toys .

Hi Foggy I 've done the same job myself before licensing came about and I agree not all door supervisors are thugs,(which I did state)but unfortunatly some are. Thanks for your kind offer to join you on a shift, but I think I'll give it a miss lol.
ATB and enjoy your little one.
