The problem is Jack, we live in a society of complete distrust and people who like to take others for a ride. No-one trusts anyone anymore and it follows through into simple things like selling on ebay or anything similar.

It's a sad world to be honest.

Tell me about it! I always show every signle thing wrong with what im selling as It saves hassle. This woman sold a used phone in good working order, she mentions good working order twice! Looked bit battered but expected that. Problem is that the joystick doesn't work nor does the bloody camera button!

That's where i went wrong. I stupidly only photo'd the front of my phone. I should've photo'd the front, the back, the sides etc. and paid the extra 12p per pic.

Gutted!!!

I'm waiting for a flat cap to turn up - only been 2 weeks or more now. She's adamant she's sent two out.

I earn my living partly on eBay and have been doing so for more years than most.
This is what I have found to be the best way of dealing with this type of issue.
Phone them and tell them what is going down and that the guy is trying to defraud you and you are worried about bad feedback, paypal reversal etc, ebay do actually have measures in place to stop sellers being blackmailed and much as I dislike the bloody company their phone operators are often really really nice and can nip a lot of problems in the bud.. You can find their telephone # via the contact us page where they also give you a pin which gives the operator time to get out your details before they answer the phone.. but just in case you cant find the number here it is

I've given in - i paid the £20 refund.

He went through Paypal, who froze my account and messed up all my items on ebay that were selling. Luckily it was resolved last night so new buyers could pay me. We also needed the Paypal money to buy a new dryer off ebay.

Top rated sellers are the same as normal private sellers.
Had a top rated seller buying my camera on saturday, got email saying wanted to close deal asap.
I emailed back...nothing....i phoned....nothing
Emailed again....nothing. phoned again..finally somebody answered the bloody phone. oh sir i don't know, item nr please, i gave the nr, we will call you back asap sir or email..me ok good.....
Still nothing, no payment, no date of collection zilch ,nada nichts.
F off then, by tomorow i cancel the deal and it goes to the next person in line.
