Boo for work! never get time to go out with the HW100 anymore as work changed my start time from early morning to the gimp 9-10am starts, this means some days it's past midnight before I get home .

I thought it would maybe get changed back to my original times but its not, its a few months now and I cant see a change coming, one or two of you might have spotted my absence from the forum - blame eddie the gimp stobart! lol

Anyway the sad fact is I reckon I'm gonna be selling up soon, and its gutting, id just managed to get everything that I needed after my return to the sport from clothing to combro!, had the stock refinished, barrel threaded (aligned to bore) and an 11deg crown put on, the rifle was shooting sweeeet! only needed a re-blue to cover where original *barrel weight* was to make her perfect. gutted.

like I said... gotta hate work..

dont do it mate! Even if you dont have time now, you will one day. When that day comes you will kick yourself (hard) for selling your kit.

I sold up when I was 17. Didnt give it a thought for a few years, then the itch got me and I was real gutted I sold my old Air Arms. In fact still wish I had it now!

As a Tree Surgeon I love work! Gets me on some big property's around me and as a foot in the door already working there I always slip in the permission question!!! The other day I got given a divers tank!

i know the feeling fella, i work for a national waste disposal company as a driver and our hours are crap.

im up at 2am every day, start at 03-30 and dont get home much before 2-3pm by which time im fooked, i pick my 2 youngest up from school at 3-30, im then up to my allotment for around 4 once ive sorted my birds out its home for about 2 hours of peace and quiet in the shed (where i am now) then tea time then bed to do it all again the next day- oh happy days.

if any one ever says being a binman or HGV driver is easy my answer is - bollox

btw take my advice friend-DONT sell your gear, you have obviously worked bloody hard to get it so why sell it on a whim, ive lost count of the radios and equipment (i was a radio ham) ive sold over the years then to regret it months later.

Thought about it long n hard, it sucks but being realistic selling up would be the best option atm, if circumstances change I can always buy another I guess

You have my full sympathies. I also hate work...... just generally. With luck I will be packing in altogether in about 5 years - that is of course unless the government steals our pensions or makes it illegal for me to retire....

Needless to say that I will be having a look around the forum on Wednesday - cos I wont be at work......

seems everyone hate's work,including me,but at the end of the day im just pleased iv got a full time job that helps me to pay for the best hobby/pastime/sport there is: AIRGUNNING
dont give it up,you will only regret it later on.

Feel your pain . im on a casual contract so i just get messed about constantly and because im broke il be used and abused over the so called holiday period , i get no holiday pay even though iv been here 18 months , could contact acas but then id probably get sacked , then i work for a builder ,,, dont even get me started on that one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dont sell up mate , you will lose money and then if you do start again it will cost a fortune
