    ebay clown's

I sold an audi body kit on there a week back for £600, brand new unpainted and quite rare as audi no longer make them, buyer called me saturday rather angry complaining it had not arrived i called couriers they said they had tried to deliver but no answer, turns out the buyer had given me the wrong address.

He had to drive to there depot to pick it up or wait till monday, he calls me monday to say thanks but it wasnt what he expected as it was the type of kit that fits over original bumpers and not the type that replaces them, this was clearly stated in the add and i also told him over the phone before i sent it, i offered a full refund minus postage if he wanted to return it, he said no as he was at the body shop getting it sprayed.

Yesterday i get an email from paypal saying he wanted a partial refund, i called him to discuss the matter and he said same thing "wasnt what he expected" so again i offered him oppertunity to return it knowing he already had sprayed and fitted it, he refused and hung up, 10 mins later another email from paypal he had upgraded the claim to full amount tried calling him alot yesterday and he would not answer, all i wanted to do was resolve the matter.

Today after trying to contact contact him with no joy i called paypal to explain i had already offered a refund but as he had now had it fitted and painted i was no longer willing to do this, paypal checked his original complaint and he stated he was claiming because the body shop charged him extra then he expected to fit the kit!!!!! Like thats my fault...i was fuming, but the lovely lady on the phone basically said what an idiot if he has had it fitted then theres no case and closed the case in my favour.

I just got a phone call from him asking why i left negative feedback!!! I proceeded to tell him what i thought of him for trying to rip me off by keeping the kit and the cash and hung up.

Bloody ebay more hassel than its worth.

    Rant over

Us sellers are secondclass citizens, cant leave a negative no matter how friggin arsey the buyer is, 9 times outta 10 the bastar#s find in favour of the buyer, If I could find an alternative to pissin fleabay, I would gladly never sell on it again. Last year they accused me of promoting racial hatred !!!!!! why??? because I offered for sale a 2nd world war german photo album, oooohhhh heinous crime.. They make me sick

    what an idiot
if its not what he expected why take it to a body shop to get it sprayed
sounds to me like the buyer was trying to pull a fast one and get his money back and keep the kit
at least paypal decided in your favour as the seller
9 times out of 10 they always favour the buyer and not the seller
i sold an old but working ds a about 3 months ago and i knew it was working when i sent it off as i tested it
took the buyer 2 weeks to put a claim in saying it was faulty
when he had the cheek to send it back the sodding thing was all sticky,i took the cover off and inside was caked in what smelt like coca cola, you can guess what happened
i disputed the case but guess what?paypal refunded the buyer
this is why i don't sell on ebay no more

About to months ago I sold a brand new (tested) laptop screen on there, buyer said it didn't work and wanted his money back. When I sent it it worked, it was sent to him in foam inside a hard box, so it couldn't have been damaged in the post. He sent it back in such a state. I told ebay I would not be paying for it and stopped all payments to paypal. The case was dropped after about a month of messing about. Ebay is all for the buyer!! Its such a joke!

I am on your side with this one as most buyers seem to be completely insane BUT how did you manage to leave a negative feedback for him when you are the seller?
I thought sellers could only leave positives nowadays.

    H had some cheek,
I have sold and bought on ebay quite alot over the years but i have noticed recently there are some real special people out there, some buyers dont read the listing properly and then say it wasnt as expected!, and quite a few sellers are using Amazon so they just list the item for more and charge postage while Amazon does the work for them and send it for nowt, its a shame coz ebay used to be a great place for real quality bargains.

My worst experience.... I am happily trading away. selling naval books for a commission, anyways I have 40k of these things to get through, so, suffice to say I have a few grand sat in my paypal account, when suddenly I get a mail from the..... wait for it... the feckin IRS, yup the bloody americans have frozen my paypal account whilst they audit me for suspected money laundering I cant remove my money, I cant add to it, trade or anything involving paypal.. A week later I get another email saying all is above board and that is an end to it... Makes you realise.. Big Brother is never far away..like something from an Orwel novel... Brrr scary ****.

Your correct sellers can only positive but left a very nasty message well as nasty as it can be with the miniscule amount of words you can fit in, i always have a little scroll through feedback on there before i buy im a little boring like that
