Poxy Ebay sellers

NEED A MOAN

I have been buying some xmas prezzies off ebay as i have my last run of work before xmas and need to get as much money in before i end up out of work, Thought it would save time and money but how wrong could i be,

1st was the book that was nowhere near what it should have been.
2nd was the dvd that was second hand not new
3rd was the cd and book brought from different sellers and both sent through Amazon

Book and dvd went back with a stinking note

The other two sellers have been contacted and am waiting partial refunds.

I dont mind the goods coming from Amazon, what i dont like is they both listed item as in their warehouse ready for dispatch and charged me delivery on top of the extra they charged for the dvd and cd

Ok feel better now, time for a cuppa

That old chestnut - I've had that happen to me before (once!) and I was livid. I always check Amazon before I resort to ebay nowadays - ebay's the hiding place of rip-off merchants, charlatans & utter rogues.

Still get some bargains there though

Well, coming from the refuge for Irish tax frauds that is the IoM you had the choice of eBay or kipper smoking

eBay has its plus side, I will never deny that, but the ethos that it started off with has been lost in the mists of time. Their buyer protection policy is heavily weighted in favour of the seller and their customer service is pish-poor - this from experience - so nowadays I'm ultra wary about anything on there with the exception of merchants I've had previous dealings with.

Hmmph I resent that remark.......The Island is a land of many opportunities ..............I could, for instance very easily have become a 3 legged no tailed cat breeder, or, if I had applied from a young age, I could have been the man who helps the man who puts the hay bales out for the TT races..

I would agree. Every ebay sellers who do it as a business are ripp off merchants in my opinion.
