I had to start this after been ****** off with the Fifa poppy saga.
First of all I came from Zimbabwe 10 years ago, my Mom was a Fiercly proud Brit. Initially here to play cricket I met someone and hey ho that was that. I call Britain home and have 2 young kids. This is where the anger starts......
..why are Brits so anti British??? Why has the pride of once being the worlds super power been watered down by political correctness? The poppy being political-********!!
Where has the common sence of unity gone. That sence of unity is why people stick together be they African,Arab,Eastern European,Asian etc Brits abroad even
I get ****** of with what's going on and ive been here 10 years and speak out about it if I feel the need to, question is "do you" speak out???

We protest and if peacfull, it gets nowhere, if it turns nasty, we are all thugs.

WE LIVE IN A DICTATORSHIP just have a blanket of freedom to make it all look good.

im with megga im not british ,im ENGLISH i will wear my poppy with pride and wont care who it offends ,WHAT SO EVER, am i racist nope not at all just a PROUD ENGLISHMAN i dont care what race or colour or what relgion you are or where you come from. what langauge you speak i care not of ,if you are here on my island and you work pay for your own accomadation surrport yourself and those who depend on you like children ,abide by our laws of this land then come and enjoy the country ,but if your a lazy dole drawing druggie ex convict looking for a easy ride stay where you are we dont want any more of you

It has nothing to do with who runs runs the country, it was a FIFA decision albeit recinded.

They had a pollicy of no political or religious symbols to be brought into the game, in one hand I totally agree, its a game, otherhand, the poppy isn't british but a amalgamation of countries, only because democratic Germany accept the awful, God awful things Nazi germany got up to is that they wouldn't protest against it for example

Think about it, if every country were allowed to wear symbols of their fallen, for whatever cause...taliban, al q etc it'd be carnage.

I'll go along with that. I've lived and worked in Ireland and in Scotland. The Irish are proud of their nationality as are the Scots. The Welsh are the same. I was born in England and proud to be English. Nothing wrong with any of that. As a nation, any of us should stop being apologetic for belonging where we do. This country should start exerting itself and stop being pushed around by unelected jobsworths. We shouldn't have asked to wear the poppy (as we did) but just go ahead and wear it! Same with all this rubbish that comes from Brussels. Ignore it! What are they going to do....start WW3?
