    Don't expect the government to figure everything out, coz they won't. They collectively have the IQ of a gnat. Buy River Cottage books and get prepared to become self sufficient. That is the future. That is the only way to remotely guarantee feeding your wife and kids.

    Lol, that was my point all along. The minimum wage makes it unprofitable to make things here so we import them, if there was no/lower minimum wage things would be made here cutting out the middleman thus lowering the prices of things so the lower wage would be able to buy the same now, if not more as the money would be circulating our economy rather than going elsewhere. You said my opinion was wrong then repeated what I said.

    The only thing that doesn't explain is Germany, massive manufacturer and also high wage payer.

    It's all about investment, all our companies do is strip away there assets and sell the company on (often to foreign hands) or shut down.
    Where as the Germans reinvest in new machinery and training.

    No. What you want is low wages like in 3rd world countries. You'd like to see factory workers working for peanuts. No, the minimum wage was and is a godsend to many of us.

    Hands up all who voted for all this rubbish not me that's for sure. It's like I said to the wife it don't matter who gets in to number 10 we just got to bend over and take it. End of day yes most are unhappy but what can we do about it apart from get our money as tax payers from the banks who had the handouts most banks are saying they making profit now so why can't they pay some back ease the burden on the poor working man

    My first vote - I voted Lib dem. I thought they seemed - Modern, up to date and all for change ready for my generation. Have they actually done anything? haha
