I mainly only use cash. Try cloning that!
I'd like to know how they randomly generate all the details though Especially as you live on that island.
I know of one cloning scam involving dodgy cashpoints and another with a card reader inserted into a cashpoint.

My credit card has never been in a cashpoint. Never been used in a shop either. Only ever online via paypal. So I am a bit bewildered as to how they managed to make an exact clone??

I've had this to the tune of 1200 quid, that was mainly used online too. I got it all back, but the police and bank basically said they didn't care who had done the thieving as it was unlikely they could be found.

Wierd thing is they used my details to transfer money out of my account into two in the names of some Russian sounding fellas. Surely that's something to start with? Names and bank details?

I had heard of some programs that scan emails looking for visa card numbers, and then duplicate them, but I don't know the reality of the situation.
The fake fronts on cash machines are known, but as Marco said they don't have them where he lives!
