why advertise for sale, and ignore buyers?!

hi, I wonder how many times you have wanted to buy something, had some cash, then found what you want on a for sale forum. If like me the answer is many times then i feel sure that you will understand the annoyance felt, when you reply to an add, and show interest with a view to purchase. Not only that but you will collect and wave autographed pictures of our noble sovereign under his beak.Well this morning i replied to a for sale add on here, the chap has been on line for several hours now, but couldn't be bothered to answer my purchase thread . well guess what Tomorrow i am going to my local shop and will pay an extra 90 quid for a new one .If i can persuade her indoors to let me buy a new gun I want it now, not in a week, the customer does you a favour by buying your soiled second hand gun, not the other way!
There i feel better now!

I can understand you on this one. It has happened to me too. I can't understand why they ignore their pm's.

I get it all the while - I've had probably 3/4 timewasters. Its a circle I've had lots of enquiries on items and then heard nowt this is probably why gopher also when the member only has a small post count. I reply to all whether its a "take the mickey" offer or a genuine offer!

Well new member or not, i have been into airguns and fac , both rifles and handguns, when we could have them. all he had to do was ring me, he had no email or pm facility's so i had no other way of contacting him.anyway i digress, new 850 air magnum from bar, super service and price. now all i need is a bunny shoot within 40 miles or so.my last 2 permissions were given up 6 years ago, this was due to serious spinal surgery which has left me disabled. all i need is a quiet corner of a field and my folding chair, this has worked for me in the past, i am patient and sooner or later the rabbits come by!

I understand, sometimes on for sale threads people miss replies if they haven't been online, which is why I think its allways best to PM no way you can miss it then..If they still ignore it thats the sellers fault.

I'm having alot of total timewasters people saying they will have this and that and NOTHING! I've just had to relist the guille suit as the member is saying he wants to pay via paypal even though the listing doesnt offer it as I dont use paypal.

I know buyers are the one's to watch but there are alot of timewasters simply haven't even any intention of buying! If I see a gun thats out of my price bracket yes I'll have a look and thats it! I don't email the seller asking questions wasting my time and his!

Doesn't our feedback and the fact we have to log our details when we sell show we are legit!!!!!I also always send everything recorded/special not for customers piece of mind mainly mine asIve had people claim non-receipt when I believe it was received.
