Down the road from where i live, a 19 year old girl who is due to have her baby in 2 weeks has been stabbed and killed.

Society is sick - kids have no peers to look to, just violent movies and games and no discipline at home or in school. Neither can you 'correct' their attitude in the street without being done. Succesive goverments have made the bed we lie in.

I study a lot of history..most periods, but at the moment its the Victorian underworld. On balance we live in a far safer nicer world than ever before. It may not seem like it but we do..its a fact!!!

Personally i blame all the mummy cudleing nany state wrapping everyone in coton wool crap combined with poor parenting.
I see to many kids miss behaveing in the town centres and not being told off by parents.
Then the ones that do try to corect the kids get abuse and "ile report you if you smack me"

Honestly...read some books on the Victorian Underworld...it would make your hair curl. Chavs have nothing on the gangs of kids that roamed the big cities....
