hello anyone who has been to a game fair or country day there are usual a good many stick makers and sometimes can see the sticks being made from many different forms with v shaft in antler to a nice chap from lincs i met using bog oak that was many 1000s of years old for such intricate designs. such craftsman as highland chief take great care and passion to make their sticks to last a lifetime, my friend made 1 for my mother some 25 years ago with a whistle top which i have and will pass to my son. they are a joy to own and use for us type country folk. i hope you sell whats required to get your rifle, just a thought though a 5ft parcel ? maybe you could use a brass screw joiner as some do to make easy to send in 2 parts as have seen done. good luck happy stick making and soon shooting.

Any plain, unshortened hazel ones? Already go an antler one with a birch shaft.
