What do you do for a living!

I have worked at a power station for very nearly 20 years and loved most of it, we are now decomissioning and in 3-4 years will have to go find work in the real world

I started as a cleaner but have been a fire equipment technician, scaffolder, crane driver, rigger, security guard (this was the worst move of my time here, it was absolutely mind numbing)
I currently look after the transport, which means i can choose to stay in the office or work outside, and i'm currently getting used to our new toy.... a £600,000 custom made rigid truck with a 150t rated, Fassi lorry loader (or HIAB as most people think of them) i suppose i'm 'jack of all trades, master of none!' lol.

Also i get to shoot the pigeons in/outside the boiler houses after the company bought a HW100 .... which was nice.

I've made some lifelong mates here, and we are well looked after pay/holiday/pension etc, the thought of leaving in the next few years fills me with dread.

I'm a qualified plasterer currently struggling like crazy to find work.
getting my qualifications in plastering seemed like a good idea at the time.

I'm a pot wash.

And full time student taking the Advanced Diploma in Engineering (level 3), A Level Physics and A Level Photography (piss easy, well the photography )
