Jetski what type of camera do you have? If it's an alt the best thing to do is play with the settings. Literally play. Do you have a tripod? A good way to start is finding something close by you that constantly moves, road, beach, river, people. Then pop it on a tripod and play with shutter speed, faster the shutter the more detail and clearer the image of moving things will be, but may be dark due to not alot of light hitting the sensor. Or the opposite a long exposure (length of time shutter is open) to get some brilliant effects. How ever too long and it will be over exposed(white effect over the image)..

cheers mate, i have a Lumix FZ45, its a bridge camera. i do have a play with the manual settings but i rarely get a photo as good as when im using the auto function. i have a tripod but have to admit i rarely use it due to lazyness. the manual is massive and its taking a while to get through. i still dont know all the functions and iv owned it for about a year now i think lol

Yeh my mate has the same one. How ever some times I wonder why they make them so complex. Tripods are my best friend! Try it nd see what you get. Even just run the tap and rest it opposite with a 1 second exposure.

I also dont really know what im doing, but I do enjoy taking pics (most of which get deleted because they are crap).

I have been trying to get the best pic I can of a bat in flight while out fishing. Helps pass the time while im catching nothing!

here are a couple of the best ones. Im sure I can get a better one, so gives me something to work on.
