What message do you get on your screen, I'm with Virgin and used to get intermittent connection to the forum, but this has since been sorted as it was Virgin who were reluctant at the time to upgrade their peering network in London.

just unable to establish a connection or link appears to be broken on ff and chrome . I just tested on my friend's laptop and it worked. Think it's just my computer's problem.

Strange, i know if i have FF running then open IE8 i can not connect to any website until i just have IE8 running on it's own.

Check your firewall is not blocking your connection on your PC.

Also make sure your pc is not running anonymity software that changes your ip address used by some of the anonymous browsing sites as i have some of these blocked.

Strange.. I have none of those. Windows firewall is off. I'm only running free version of Avira and malwarebytes. That's about it.

So far you have posted via 2 different ip's in this thread.

Go to What Is My IP Address - Shows Your IP Address on your pc and let me know what your ip address is showing as.

    I accessed via the uni.
Thank you Andy, it's sorted itself out.

Cleared cached...took couple mins, didn't realise the amount of junk.
Disabled malwarebytes, found out this is the main reason.

    =)

edit: it's not malwarebytes fault...did a full scanned found some funny stuff ...
think it's more likely to be the cache redirecting to strange places
