    Favorites for threads

    One for admin

Is it possible to add a favorites function for threads? theres been some realy good posts lately on different topics like "how to's" but its often a pain searching back for them. I know i could just stick them in my local pc's/laptop's favorites but i'm normaly veiwing from my phone so this sort of thing would be handy.

    Just a thought,
    Ian

subscribing would not solve it as your subscribed to every thread you have posted on. the favorite threads would soon get lost in there

I agree that would be a great function. I use my phone aswell as other computers

Wrong, Jetski, if you use the quick reply or untick the unsubscribe me to this thread when doing an advanced reply you aren't emailed every time you go onto a thread,
This is what the subscribe button was originally designed for. As it let you keep track of specific threads.

don't tell me I'm wrong pal, I'm not new to this forum. I dont get any email notifications and I'm subscribed to every thread I have posted on. I use this to quickly go through threads that may have a response to my posts. having a favorite thread facility is something else entirely as previously explained

Well I am not subscribed to any threads at all, If you go into 'edit options' you can set your default thread subscription. Mine is set to 'do not subscribe' pretty sure that is the default as well?

So if you don't want to subscribe to everything, you could use the subscription as a favourites.

    ^^^ this was my point...
It works out the same way.

Although why not just bookmark the thread if you want favourites?
