Havnt fished for donkeys years now used to love coarse fishing only for pure enjoyment no competitions , but my favourite was beach casting off the coast in mid Wales round Borth and such like can't beat the sea air

We do both living on the Broards makes the fresh easy literly step of the boat and were fishing we just dabble. Sea fishing we enjoy as we can eat what we catch so to be honest we enjoy both

sea fishing for me,love it only been doing it a couple of years.living by the sea it would be rude not too
just started trying to fish light, what i mean by this is just taking the bear minimum, pack in to a back pac and off i go,fricking great
course fishing looks expensive,i've seen them at a shoot we go to(IDEN FERNS) unloading pannel vans on to a 4 wheeled trolley so much stuff it was unbelievable,me a rod and reel bait, its fisho'clock

I haven't been fishing for 5 or 6 years now, although I still have a spare room filled with gear that I'd never sell. My fishing was 99.9% fresh water with the other 0.1% being boat fishing trips on family holidays when I was a kid.

My Dad used to book a boat out of Yarmouth on the IoW with family friends, we'd go twice during our stay and for me it was the high light of the whole holiday.

The skipper my Dad used to book was the only one (at the time) who would sail between the needles, which was a major experience for me as 13 year old, one that I'll never forget.

We saw the QE2 on it's way into Southhampton one year, damn that thing was HUGE, it scared the life out of me!

I like both. I fly fish for pike, trout and grayling (it isn't that expensive if you buy day tickets) and a fly fish in the sea too, plus some boat and beach fishing at selected targets.

A few already edited and ready to post. Just back from Cornwall fishing off a friends boat, fly and light lures:
    6lb+ wrasse
    7lb pollack
    4lb cod
4lb bass - first of the year!
