    6v to 12v

Hi guys I have a cluson GL6 6v lamp can anyone tell me what i need to do to convert it to 12v is it just a case of swapping the bulbs or is there more to it than that?
my house is haunted! Every time I look in the mirror this old man comes and stands in front of me so I can't see my reflection!

My main worry would be the extra heat generated and if the reflector would cope making any worth while difference with the 12v. Much easier to just buy a 12v lamp in the long run

it was just a thought as my lamp is 6v and i have been given 2 12v batterys brand new,a mate of mine has same lamp only 12v much brighter than mine so i thought it would improve my lamp somewhat for the price of a couple of bulbs

Just done the same with a 6v Logun gun lamp. Changed the battery to a 12v 3.4AH one and changed from a 6v 10w to a 12v 20w lamp.

    They will be just fine.

    A bit pricey though!
