Insurance is not compulsary with any air-rifle. You'd be a fool not to have it though.

Belonging to BASC is just not Insurance

It's a Association of Shooters that have Full time Staff and Sections

That in most cases can deal with most Shooting incidents

Any Association is Only as Good as it's Active Membership

Aware that many of the Activily involved in the Association are not

    Mainly Air Gunners

But will listen to Air Gunners if kept abreast of Issues Effecting
    Air Gunning

Far better than current Editors that are reported to Speak on

    Air Gunners Behalf

That also wear the Cap of the Trade and bring in and support the likes

Of AT - Power Sealing Gun's - even when quality control allows

Gun's to come out Exceeding the Sub 12FP Rule - Making the owner

A Section 1 Fire Arms Offender

It's your Money and Future -

You can do exactly the same with SACS, there only a phone call away if you need advise or help with anything.

If you only use airguns it will still cost you £16.00 a year more with the BASC than a full membership with SACS. If you want a full membership with BASC its £66.00 a year that's £36.00 more.

After reading though it i can't personally see what you gain by paying more than double to be a member of the BASC.

But no ones forcing anyone to join anything. I'm just simply offering a much cheaper alternative especially if your feeling the pinch and short of a few quid.
