    ratcatcher breech screw

    any hints on getting a knackered breech screw out of a king ratcatcher?
    don't know what possessed crosman to put such a piddly little allen screw in there
    i used the correct allen key and it would not budge,used a bit of force and its rounded off and i can't get the bugger out
    any suggestions much appreciated
    will drill it out only as a last resort

    Carefelly cut a small slot it it useing a dremel or something similar then get it out with a flat blade screwdriver.

    what i done was when i rounded it off,was i got a small phillips bit hammered it carefully into hole until it gripped then carefully turned it,i didn't have a dremmel so that's how i got it out.

    Crosman bolts are best quality cheese. I find a torx screwdriver can often be hammered in sufficiently to grip.

    did think of a torx but i don't have one small enough
    a trip to maplns may be needed
