opinions for FT use of an AA s400 please

im trying to sell my tx200hc that i bought just for a little hunting/general use, and i have to say its a beautiful gun, although hunting didnt agree with me!

so ive joined a local club (just doing my probationnary 4 weeks) and they have suggested a 177, and lots are using pcp's of various types

i shot a hammerli at the weekend and have to say i was deeply impressed, even though i arent a fan of the looks, but having had a look in my local gunshop i was really taken by the standard (non carbine) 177 (beech) s400, i dont need a mag, so the s410 would be a waste, but it is a large investment for me as never having had a pcp i need a full rig up, but fancy a new scope etc too.

the gun felt very nice to hold, light but not excessively, and im smitten with AA build quality, so would people think this was a good choice, or should i bide my time for something else?

    i value peoples opinion

Stick with the TX for a while and look around for a secondhand 400, you can pick one up for £250/300 in reasonable condition. They are easy and cheap to repair and are fairly bullet proof if looked after.

NEFTA has double 'A' shooters who use 400's.

well ive done it, bought one today, kind of had to really, turned round in the shop and put a tiny nick in the stock!

its beautiful, shoots very well, and is just the right weight, intend doing it justice with a nice new high zoom scopeeventually once i have enough beer tokens!

but very pleased, just keep staring at it!
