    DIY: Knock Down Target Box

In the run up to getting my new gun i got rather impatient and a tad excited. So i decided to focus myself on doing something constructive, a little bit spare time at work and some "spare" materials later i came up with this...

Found an old electrical consumer unit/db then stripped it out.

Mounted 3 magnets on the back of the front cover to retain the targets for shooting, then fitted stud bar across bottom of box and fitted steel bar for targets to mount onto.

Found suitable targets ( Shame big 2 are 50mm Smaller is 25mm ), then mounted wood in box to absorb energy of any missed shots and painted dark grey.

Then painted inside front cover grey to match box and painted targets luminous yellow and orange to enhance contrast.

Then painted outside of the newly constructed Target Box "Hunter Green"

I'm gonna get some finished pics tonight, was going to try and do a camo finish on box but despite my enthusiasm i realised i'm just not good enough.

Dude it's easy to do a camo finish. You only need 4 different colours and layer random spray lines on top of each other. Have a go it start off really bad but then once you have the hang of it, it turn's out to be a right laugh.

I camo'd my rifle this way check it out lol
    Gone Mountain biking

    Edited for grammar.

    Impressive work buddy.
What are the targets made out of? Is there a danger that they might shatter on impact, or are they made of tough stuff?

The targets are made from a rubber/PU material which are bonded onto a metal base. They are pretty hard wearing and there are loads available if one does become damaged. I was meant to take a pic to show you but forgot
