Im an avid .177 user myself and so voted for that calibre here. Did anyone read the article in AW's August edition written by Phil Price called "The Hole Story"?
Interesting read. His tests give favour to the .177 round. Basically the channels created by a .177 round are wider indicating that the lighter round dumps more of its energy on the quarry where its intended. I've personally never had an injury shot using .177 yet (touchwood), and i like the fact that pretty much from 10-35 yards i can aim near enough dead on.
.22 is..ok i guess as well though if your into lardy arse rounds haha (joking)
