I have only ever owned .22 cal rifles. I have tried .177, but couldn't get on with it. Would like to try a .20 sometime though.

I've had 2 .22's (a Superstar & a Brum Longbow) - lovely guns but no longer in the cabinet.
I've had .20 (a Theoben Evo) - great calibre but limited pellet choice.
All that's left are .177's because I prefer that calibre if for no other reason than it's cheaper for a tin of 500. There's many other reasons but I'm not going to regurgitate the same reasons that have already been posted by others.

I voted .22 as thats all ive ever used but after reading this very interesting thread im tempted to give .177 a go
After shooting .22 and .177 I've have come to the conclusion that only girls shoot .177
I've shot .22 and they just seem to suit me best.
So because I have a motorbike and shoot a .22 I'm the coolest here...![]()
