Lefty cocking mechanism options?

I'm a lefty, I have an underlever springer but am considering getting a .22 pcp multishot, I don't want one with a right handed cocking mechanism so I wanted to know what (if any) are my options for pcp's with left handed mechanisms out of the BSA and AA manufacturers?

Thanks.

The Bsa Ultra has a push button cocking mechanism that can be pushed with either hand, I believe the Scorpion has a Bolas type bolt that is reversable but the stock needs to be lh. I have an FX Cyclone with synthetic stock which is ambi you just need to swap the cocking mechanism from one side to the other. atb Nick

Go for a Daystate (IF YOU CAN STRETCH TO IT) they do a dedicated left-handed cocking mechanism which is as sweet as a nut !!!

Have a look at my pics.

Brocock Concept has a true ambidextrous cocking bolt.

Thanks for the suggestions.

That Daystate is a beauty, how much would that set me back about?

Is the scorpion available in a left handed stock with a thumbhole too?

I forgot to mention earlier, I definitely want a thumbhole.

Cheers.

Danny.

Try a righthanded action in a lefthanded stock. You are lefthanded and are used to living in a righthanded world. I shoot a righthanded S400 lefthanded without any problems.

I also have a fully lefthanded mark 3 TX200 and a righthanded Mark 2 in a lefthanded stock. I find the righthanded one easier to load, because I am used to it.

I know what you're saying about living in a right handed world but I find that I take the weight of the rifle with my right hand, while the left is free to move from the trigger to the sight etc and so the cocking mech really needs to be on the left too.

I asked on the BSA owners forum and apparently the R-10 is available with a left handed mech which would be great, or might look for an S-10 with one, there's also the ultra, have to look into getting a left handed stock with thumbhole also though.

Mine is FAC but sub 12ft/lb is still I think about the same price, you would look at about £1200 just for the gun. They do others too which are cheaper and still can be left-handed cocking.

HAPPY HUNTING !

Thanks for the info, that's about double what I would want to spend though.
