    help with new scope

Hello everyone, I'm after a new scope for general use and some hunting. I as wanting a first focal plane scope so i can rely on mill dots at all mags. I have found this (http://www.uttings.co.uk/Product/543...fle-scope-m14/) on sale for uttings and seemed good and has the mags i want. Is there anything better for the money ?
    Thanks
    Harry

I have to admit this is something that has been bugging me, what is the point in having mil-dots when they change with the mag, I was thinking that is would be simpler with say a 10x44. Is it possible to gain a list of models that have the reticle in the first focal plane?

I can think of far better scopes for that money If your that worried like blind squirrel says id stick with a fixed 10 x 44. my panaramas dont change with mag as there glass etched and half the price good optics too. never heard of falcon optics im guessing uttings own brand.

I recently purchased the Falcon 5.5-25x56 ffp a couple of weeks ago so I've had a good chance to test out in all shooting situation's. I know it's not the same model but hope this help's.

My opinion of this scope is: It's a nice solid scope but being soildly built it makes it heavy..The optics are quite clear even at top mag..The turrets are very responsive and return to my zero.. I only bought this scope because of the extra mildots and they are worth it( I have enough mildots for a hold over at top mag at 65 yards on my .22)... The side focus is good but it needs a large wheel for better range finding ( I bought a 2nd Hand one of E%^y and machined it to fit). The only thing that I wish this scope of mine had is IR( I find in bad light or lamping the mildots can be a bit hard to see)..
After always having 2nd plane scopes and now a FFP, I would never go back, obviously everyone has there own preference but that it is mine..
