    Removing hammerite

    My mate has just bought a 97k from a gun shop on the cheap as its been painted. After showing me i noticed the base coat was hammerite. He wants this all removed. Hes got new scopes mounts but the stock and gun are covered. Any help would be great. I was thinking paint stripper as my brothers a sprayer but its a gun not a car so im asking here first. thanks in advance.
