PCP Stirrup Pumps ( Yes another Question )

I'm struggling to work out which Stirrup Pump to buy. To many brands

Gunpower
Axsor
FX
Webley
Hills
BSA
etc etc



All vary in cost , why ?

Can you recommend a decent pump with built in Filters and have aftermarket parts available, like seal kits etc

If you search hard enough you will eventually find that the quality pumps are made by one of two manufacturers to different companies specifications. The higher price is normally related to extra features like gearing which can be an asset. Just make sure you get a filtration system and change the granules when specified. If you cost like features for like features including warranties the prices are comparative. Also need to look at ease of fill, numbers of pumps to fill etc. Depends how fit you are. Can't go wrong with the last 4 on your list.

Both the FX and Hills are excellent. Do you need the extra gearing?

Been told by an expert to avoid Gunpower pumps, apparently very cheaply made in China, Hills are made in the UK, Webley, FX, Axsor I believe are the same pump, just different labels!

I have had a axsor pump for the last 10 years, has worked fine, did have a smal isue with it on friday this week was using it in the field and it stoped pumping at 170 bar it just would not pump , only took 5 mins to fix , o ring had sliped inside, could be down to the low temp was -3

The Webley is supposed to use the least amount of pumps to fill your gun.
