Nearly finnished my NV.

First I unpluged the ir relay and fitted the 16mm ir lens on the cctv camera.
I used an old scope flipup cap glued to the front of the camera with resin.
Removed the power plug from camera and spliced the wire to the monitor power cable and solderd the wires together. This is so I could plug the battery ito the one plug and power the lcd and camera with the one plug.
Im using me designator at the moment,until I can make an ir laser. As for the laser I could remove the crystal out of me designators green laser this would then turn it to an ir laser but i think ile leave it alone just in case lol. Ive just seen these on the bay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1606900101...84.m1423.l2649 i know its not infrared, but i can use the caddy and use a ir laser diode out of dvd burner and use another lens so i dont burn holes in everything.

As long as it helps others build a Nv setup im happy.
I beleave these ideas should be shared and not held to make money out of people.
