    Dating a Sheridan Blue Streak?

I'm bringing this old girl out of retirement.

I've owned it for 40 years give or take a couple of years, it was second hand when I got it.

There is a serial/part number stamped on the barrel.

I'd love to know when it was manufactured, could anybody point me towards a data base that might contain the information I'm after please?

    Thanks for looking,

    Dave.

Ah, I'm pretty sure it's pre 1972. Thanks for the info Stefan.

The big attraction for me when I got it was that it is a left handed loader, they were as rare as rocking horse poo, and with me being terminally left handed I couldn't resist.

That's easy, cut the top of the head off and count the rings.

I wouldn't know where to start with a woman, I've been wedlocked for the last 35 years.
