Yes, I also use tyre inflators and find their co2 capsules very good. Good service too.

The only problem with long term continuos usage is the major lack of lubricant that crosman and other manufacturers Co2 caps contain, as we all know after a few shots especialy in semi auto's the temp the Co2 pushes through the internals of your weapon drops to below freezing point which tends to eat away at internal seals that come in direct contact with the gas, the lubricant in the correct Co2 caps feeds the silicone, rubber, synthetic seals and helps reduce cracking big time, and also lubes up the internal metal work too. Just Co2 in the tyre caps (bulbs) do not contain lubricants. effects may show in reduced muzzle energy in certain outdoor temps and in the long run may freeze up and crack your seals, it is likely you may also see signs of rust inside the barrel if you do not use lubrications.

    Same ones I get
work out at 48p each, decent reliable make aswell.
I only use them in my crosman 357 and smk xs78, but I use my HW45 and TX200hc more, so buying one set of 50 tends to last me fore a good 6 months-1 year.
A gun is like a condom. I would rather have one, and not need it. Then need one, and not have it.

either use CO2 cartridges with lube already inside them or use pellgunoil, or both.
making sure you don't use too much oil of course. your seals will thank you for it.

Best thing is to run a lubricated Crosman powerlet through a gun every 3-5 unlubricated powerlets.

Also put Pellgun or SAE30 oil on the powerlet tips at similar intervals.

Gents, Don`t get hung up over lube in co2. I have several vintage ( 1950`s/60`s) Crosman and Benjamin co2 weapons that are still working today on their original seals, and there was never any oil in co2 bulbs until a few years ago.Neither was oil recommended to be added to the guns in question.
Obviously, it won`t do any harm to add a drop of oil now and then.

Don't fall for all that crosman lube rubbish, yes. They have lube but so do all co2 capsules. It's in there from the manufacturing process. It's only crosman that bangs on about it. Co2 is co2, go for the cheapest...
I specialise in tuning smk 78 and 79 range of co2 guns... interested? send me a pm...
