    Custom made co2 project... ;-)

For a start sorry to any one who would have liked to see step by step photos of how i have got on so far......I am at the stage now where all I need is to make a bolt handle and pellet probe.....possilbly a magazine if i decide too.. and the wood work of coarse

This rifle is called Protocarbine because its a very short proto-type of what i'm hopefully going to make in full stainless after this project the only difference is the stainless one will be pcp an not co2......

here's some pictures of it so far...

It could well end up as one, depends what power i can muster ....it only takes one capsule not testing it untill its all finished.... could just buy a longer barrel and turn a cyclinder to take 2 capsules and screw that on.....lol

KNIGHT...may even go pcp with this one when its all done.......one of the reasons i decided to do this is because i always wanted to make my own air rifle/(pistol.....titch.. the other is like the modding i've seen done to ratty's and QB'S AND THERE variants but atm cannot afford to buy one or do the modding.... this way i cn make the gun an mod it all i want witn no expense whatsoever up to yet the gun has cost half a dozen "o" rings..

Got round to doing abit more of the co2 gun recently,
(NEW) valve pin made....(not tested) MK1 pin "o" ring blew off
    Bolt probe + spring assembly
    Stock inlet and roughed out

I think the breech is a tad tight even for my twiglet fingers so might have to make a Mag for it
    The gun still needs :-
    bolt handle
    action end plug
    stock smoothing,finishing,butt fitting
    metal polished + finished
spring trials in valve and hammer to set power

Here's a few pics of progress

The wood 100+ yrs old pitch pine
    valve pin in lathe
    stock roughed out and inlet
