Hi guys, I have been shown this article. I believe the implications could be far reaching and potentially impact on all the responsible air gun users out there.

I was so incenced i felt compelled to write a response.

good on you for posting a comment. People need to be shown some sense.
It is a shame things like these happen.
Good on you, i take it your the Gary on the website. It's amazing how many people decide to open there mouths before thinking or looking into the facts before posting and i think your post put some good points into perspective.
Good on you. Some other good points on there too!

It just got to me, both the original posters, clearly had no idea what they where talking about. I personally wouldn't feel like taking on anyone from the Taliban with my .177 HW77, and as for the "david" character, well, he would have the Government ban anything, he didnt agree with/understand/comprehend
Like all responsible airgun users I hope the perpetrators get their just deserts.
This however is just blatant antigun propaganda designed to cause alarm and distress to an uninformed public. Lines like "Modern air guns have immense power" a 1930s BSA improved mod D would give 10.5 - 11 ftlbs.
I wrote a letter of complaint to the BBC a while back, some so called vet said "Todays airguns can be pumped up to the power of a .22 rifle and they are lethal" on prime time TV Guess what - No reply what a surprise!
Its high time the RSPCA stopped playing politics - I certainly wont be giving them a penny.
An old saying comes to mind "O lord please let me put my brain in gear before I let the clutch out on my mouth". That would be a good idea would it not. Perhaps if these people did that instead of kneejerk reaction we might all get on in this world.............Regards Chris
Good point made about the rspca playing politics, they gave a million pounds to the labour party to ban fox hunting, money that was actually donated to build an animal shelter, when they came knocking on my door, I politely reminded them of that. The thing is we are all tarred with this brush, wrongly I know, but in the public's minds there is no difference, they do not see any difference in me shooting a rabbit to eat to a moronic thug shooting at swans.

Bloody hell that got me pis*ed, bloody do gooders, jumping on the band wagon, no brain, just listen and protest. I have not known one person on this site who would condone the actions of the idiots who do this.
So lets ban all animal crulty by getting rid of air guns, because the mindless thugs, would love animals if there were no air guns, wouldnt they
