I was 110% an HW97k man Weihrauch right through and have been since the mid 80's Until i tried my mates TX200HC MkII in .177. A standard gun and amazed just how smooth it shot and accurate it was which just blew the HW97 into the shadows, i just had to have one . After some seaching for the right one i became the owner of the TX in my signature, .22,near new condition, super smooth and insainly accurate at a very nice asking price

    Cool .177 TX200HC

    Hi All.

Im new to the forum but have just purchased a .177 TX200 HC and am very pleased with it. Although some guys think its to heavy i have found that my shots are more stabble due to the weight. I have a HAWKE 4x40 sport HD fitted and a DEBEN sight mounted tracer atom. I have zeroed a grouping of 1 inch at 35 yards and have had good success so far. A great bit of kit.

    Question...
#Is it worth buying an external silencer?

    Anyway

    Good hunting

for asthetics and for far away muzzle crack could be worth it, I would speak to matt W about a silencer.

Yes they are great bits of kit. Although if you're going to hunt I would suggest getting a scope with atleast 6 mag for just that little bit of extra accuracy.

I got the Mk3 HC too and am gutted to be letting it go. Compared to my S400 its just too heavy to carry around hunting (but I would if I didn't have a PCP if you see what I mean).

Its a gorgeous rifle and if I could afford to have it sat around the house I would defo keep it. I just like picking it up and holding it sometimes :~|

If you're in the market for a springer, you cannot go wrong with one of these.
