    Deben tracer mini

took delivery of my tracer mini after pondering which one to buy for weeks , and first impression are pretty good .......the clip on mount is cheap plastic and pants , it clips onto the scope and the lamp then slides onto that which is a pain in the ass to put on or take off , the on/off switch is like the ones you get on a stand up lamp and the way they expect you to fix it to your stock is sh!t its a bit of velcro that doesnt stick . if you do buy any of the tracer range , atom , mini or max find a way of fixing the on/off switch and buy the aluminium scope mount with it , its only £6-£7 im going to order one tomoz the lamp is nice and bright found that out by shining it in my eyes ( by accident ) . going to take it out tonight see how it performs . update tomoz on the range of the light .

went out last night , this thing is excellent nice and bright , only got one rabbit because all the others just kept running off went i put the light on them or when i looked the rabbits where to far for me to shoot . the battery isnt light i put mine in a back pack rather than my belt . if you can get over the crap scope mount and find a proper way to fix the switch to your stock then this is one brilliant lamp .

i have not found the plastic scope mount to be a problem,i always leave it attached to the lamp and just push it on when using the lamp and pull it off when i have finished,i use the dimmer switch and just hold it against the stock to turn it on and off.

im like mikey i dont find the plastic scope mount to be a problem i always leave it attached to the lamp.
i just push it on to the scope when im using it and pull it off when i have finished
and as for the rabbit running off Didn’t you get a red filter with it ?

and as for the aluminium scope mount its just a normal 25mm scope mount that you have to put on upside down.
so if you got an old scope mount kicking around just use that. if i not i got one here that i will swap for the plastic scope mount

i went to the gun shop to buy a red filter but all they had was amber so i thought that would be better than nothing . as for the plastic mount i emailed deben about the mount and switch just to explain my thoughts and they said they will send me the aluminium mount for free so thats ok . cheers anyway .
