Hi all,
Thought I'd show off my new toy that originally I wasn't going to get. Due to webley not being able to churn out raider 10's quick enough I deceided that I would like a BSA ultra instead however the dealer told me he did not want to sell any at the moment as they have had a couple of them back faulty. I was then recommended the armex which I took even though it was a tad more expensive.
I must say I am very pleased with it and it shoots lovely. Titchgamer has helped me out with it and has also written a very good review on his.
Now to try and find some good weather and opportunity to go out and play with it.

I'll put up some better pictures when I can dust off the proper camera.

I’ve just found what I was looking for, it was where I left it …
I bought an Armex X10 Avenger in .22 a few months back and really liked it, well balanced and a pleasure to shoot, beautiful stock, unfortunately I sold it as I had a couple minor glitches with it. The first one was that the design of the magazine was good but I would get a sore finger as I fire a lot on the plinking range and was getting a sore finger as it is recommended to index the magazine once inserted prior to firing just to ensure that the 1st pellet indexes correctly. Also I could not get to grips with the sweet spot, I tried to get it regulated but as it is a new rifle fresh out of the factory I could not find anyone to regulate it. It may be the case that someone out there could regulate it for me but I tried Tench etc etc. Anyway had I been able to sort out it's sweet spot even though it was in .22 and the sharp edges on the magazine hadn't caused a issue I would never have sold this cracking Gun, I did like it. I had to dig deeper as I then bought a Daystate MK4 IS MCT in .177. Incidentally both rifles are in the Thumbhole stock option.....

Just out of curiosity how did you manage to hurt your finger?
When I was taking it down the farm regular I was going through 10-20 mags a night and never had a problem even in the sub zero temperatures (last crimbo actually LOL)
As for the regulateing I never found the need but I never target shoot any more LOL

I would hunt, which was not a problem, but when I was target shooting I could go through a lot of pellets, so when I would load the Mag then index it a few turns I found that the same part of my thumb's flesh was getting a bit tender (wimp or what lol lol) anyway not a major issue but just one I thought to mention. As for the rifles accuracy, don't get me wrong this is a brilliant gun, however I bought it in .22 rather than .177 and this combined with the lack of it being regulated frustrated me in that getting the sweet spot was harder work, just a bit of a lazy git so that is why I bought a Daystate MK4 IS MCT, more cash but like the gun.....
Fair enough, Just couldnt work that one out LOL.
Still have mine but sadly isnt getting alot of use these days
It got to do a bit Of FT the other week though![]()
