Which do you find the best HW100, or Airwolfe?

That's as good question mate, but in all honesty i wouldn't part with either, they're both awesome guns but in different ways.
I love how clinical the Wolf is, my son has been shooting with it lately and can't put it down, it really is a joy to shoot, but i also love the HW100's. Well designed, accurate, best mag system around imo, and a great example of German engineering.

I also don't have a preference in .22 or .177 with the HW100's, both perform perfectly as you'd expect
Daystate Air Wolf CDT (.22) -MTC Viper (SCB) 4-16X50
Daystate Air Wolf MCT (.177) -MTC Viper (SCB) 4-16X50
Weihrauch HW100 TK (.22) -MTC Mamba (SCB) 3-12x44
    Weihrauch HW100 TK (.177) -Pulsar N550 Digisight
    Brocock Atomic Super 6

I am thinking of getting one of these. I have a HW97K underlever at the minute and love it, so thinking of taking plunge on a PCP. Can you give me any idea of costs to run. IE - How much does it costs for the cyclinders and air and roughly how many pellets will a cyclinder last. (and how many pellets will the gun last once it is filled). are there any other aditional costs apart from the £720 or so pound for the gu and cost of the cyclinder as above.
    Thanks

    Brilliant review Poacher,
I found it very interesting as i have recently bought a HW100s in .177. I've only put about 1/2 a tin of AA fields (4.52) through it yet. I have some JSB exacts (4.52), H&N ftt (4.52) & Falcon accuracy (4.52) to try as well. Any thoughts on which will be most suited? I've tried it out at my range at various distances, 40mm spinner @ 35 metres. Then i shot @ a few 60mm circles on a piece of cardboard which i had been using to zero my rimmy @ 60 metres. (in front of a 10 foot soil bank.) Not a great distance by a top rifle shooter's standard but i was well chuffed with all the pellets inside the circle. Anyway, can't wait to get out there again.

    ATB........Neil.

hi,nice report, pellets=i have had a few hw100 rifles and now settled for the mk1 hw100t,i tried the weihrauch pellets and they were ok but my friend at the gun shop told me to try rws superdomes and ftt,the RWS were terrible but the FTT were realy good,i have used the AA FEILDS but FTT were better but i am going to try accupels JSB EXACTS,couple of pionts, the chronograph are known to be only 95% accurate,to get the perfect reading you need to use the ones in the gun shops, also you can turn the power up and down on the anti tampers and it only takes about 10mins,i am going to try and see how many shots i get off a full fill and see when the power drops because i have always topped mine up and never thought of taken advantage of the regulator.
