    I prefer the full length for two reasons; Firstly it will theoretically be slightly more accurate, and secondly, the shots per charge is slightly higher.

    thanks for that info poacher i would think it might feel a bit more balanced i've not seen one to try don't see any in gun shops around here

    Given the recent interest in consistency of output I tested the HW100S today with different pellets, each in a five shot string. All figures FPS;-

    Accupel: 815 - 810, Average 812 = 11.57 ft/lb
    AA Field: 807 - 802, Av. 805 = 11.75 ft/lb
    H&N FTT: 791 - 783, Av. 786 = 11.66 ft/lb
    Superdome: 805 - 791, Av. 798 = 11.74 ft/lb
    Hobby: 851 - 847, Av. 849 = 11.21 ft/lb

    My gun is obviously more consistent than the man behind it.

    Nice review, they really are awesome guns, i prefer the carbines myself, but they're all top notch.

    They look really good. 11.75 with the Air Arms is great. Have you tried any heavier pellets like bisley mags

    No. I've only used the pellets listed so far. The Accupels are the tightest grouping, closely followed by AA Fields. I'll be trying some JSB Exacts next time, but have no plans to use heavier pellets.

    my hw100 is antitamper but with a certain pellet i get readings of 13 pound a shot work that out ?

    Is that with heavier pellets stefan?
