I am and it is. I served with the IDF Sayeret Rimon in the 70's. It was a disbanded unit that was bought back into service as a counter insurgentcy unit and was disbanded again after the Yom Kippur war to be replaced by the Sayeret Duvdevan.
Roughly translated Sayeret Rimon means grenade battalion, Literally Rimon means Pomegranate, not that we specialised at all.

I can pick improvements that could be made but can't class them as faults.

A set of open sights would be good so the end shroud can be removed and the gun used as a ratter.

I also think they should design a shorter bottle for those who don't have the reach.

A ratter is a gun that has the power to kill a rat (providing you hit it in the brain). A ratter needs to be short in stature so its easy to swing onto target. With the front shroud removed the 16 is a lot shorter, somewhat louder though (the shroud is an excellent silencer) but with rats the shot report doesn't matter. I've had a rat eating at a food source as his mate went cartwheeling over his head and he didn't move (he is more likely to note that there's a hot meal on the cards).

Open sights are the type of sight that you find on spring guns i.e. not telescopic. Scopes are great but when ratting you're likely to be in or by buildings and the range too close for clarity of view, they also are a lot slower in aquiring the target. An open sight allows you to point and shoot within a second or two.
Fast shooting is something hunters don't do for fear of injuring the quarry but with rats there should be no compassion.

PCP's aren't fitted with open sights.

Just read your review dodge, spot on. After the problems I had with mine at the beginning I'm now loving this gun for hunting on my new permission. Got some logun sg3 grease to lube mag o ring and bottle reception o ring. Not blocked gun since and mag cycles mint.Small leak from bottle reception o ring even with grease on.Took it to local gun shop who replaced it with a standard o ring worked ok for a week.
Luckily enough I am in contact with the boy who had gun before me,I asked him how many times he replaced bottle o ring. none he said.original logun o ring.It was a lot harder than the run of the mill o rings that you get from other places .Will try to get in touch with Logun,to see if I can finally get to speak to simon or martin as every time I call, can't get hold of them. I'll speak to them to see if I can order some original Logun s16 o rings.Looked on web to see if anyone sells logun o rings but cant find anyone.

More's the pity - so many rifles geared for scope only these days, that's why I'm thinking about swapping my Theoben Olympus for an HW80k, or similar.......
