Glad you're pleased with it.... I would not consider an SMK, tend to go for more expensive guns. But if you've got what you want and saved loads in the process.... you're smart!!!
Happy shooting...!!!
This is a discussion on smk xs20 review within the Airgun Reviews forums, part of the Airguns category; I have had an smk xs20 for about a year now and when i first got it the main spring ...
I have had an smk xs20 for about a year now and when i first got it the main spring very tawgy so striped the gun down and found it only had light oil in it so it greased it up with some gun grease.
The smk xs20 is well made in and out its also very smooth now it's also got very easy to manage recoil and good balanced the trigger pull ok.
The gun is very accurate and nice to use it also got good power, when i first bought the gun it had 10.5fp and now that got to 11.59 over a year
i have put about 3600 pellets through this gun and it is still smooth and nice to use
conclusion
i think this is a very good gun for £125 and can make a great sporting combo my gun has got a nikko stirrling 3-9x40 ao scope fitted and makes a great match
Glad you're pleased with it.... I would not consider an SMK, tend to go for more expensive guns. But if you've got what you want and saved loads in the process.... you're smart!!!

It was an XS20 that brought me back to airguns. Since moving to the country there had been lots of rats so I wanted something cheap but effective - the XS20 is just that.
I agree a stripdown and relube does a lot to make it smoother and for a "cheap" rifle it is better than it ought to be for the price.
nice review mate ,glad your happy with it
how much for the gun?
if i had to choose an smk it would be the smk xs20. looks like a nice rifle for the price

good guns for the price ,just a little tlc needed, and as long as your happy with it thats all that matters![]()
There is nothing wrong with the SMK XS20. I had the AGS SR2 which is the same gun and which even had SMK stamped on the breech block.
I was well impressed and even though a little crude it knocked the bunnies over on regular occations without any problems![]()

I just recently bought a smk XS20 I thought I would never buy one, I heard so many bad things about them.
How wrong I was, The gun has been transformed after a little TLC by me into a real smooth performer..I have several HWs & many more top end rifles in my collection, but this little beut brings a smile to my face every time I use it..
Perfect wet weather gun as well when you dont want to take out your £500+ pride & joy..
