Webley Stingray 11 xs and sabre 3-9x42 scope

Ok this is my first attempt at writing a review so i apologise if it's not up to much.
I've had the webley stingray 11 xs for a week now and i've really been enjoying it it's a turkish model and comes with a turkish walnut stock the stock is well made an beautifully finished and is a true ambidexturous model as a left hander it feels perfect. The blueing is really nice and cosmetically the rifle looks fantastic the chequering is flawless and feels really nice. the breech is really tight and it takes a heavy smack to break the barrel i'm confident that it will remain tight for many years and can't see any barrel alignment issues in the future. Now onto the shooting the action is very quiet and the silencer is excellent this is the most quiet spring gun i've ever heard and i've owned most wiehrauch's and webleys and had a lot of them tuned and have never come accross one as quiet as this. At 25 yards i can get half inch groups and one inch groups out to 35 yards. So far i can find no fault with this gun it's a well balanced reliable gun at a very reasonable price i can see it taking over as my number one.

Now onto the scope the sabre optics scope is chinese made but don't let that put you off the rrp is £55 and they can be picked up cheaper for the money you get the 3-9x42 scope (though it's marketed as a 3-9x40 it's actually a 42mil lens ) a really solid 1 piece steel mount flip up lens covers and a full size cleaning cloth. The scope has a milldot reticule and is provides a very clear picture the windage and elevation turrets are easy to adjust offering a click that is easy to here and easy to feel the scope was very quick and easy to zero and i'm very impressed with it. I would say to anyone looking for a new scope the sabre scopes are excellent value for money and offer a genuine bargain i would happily rate mine alongside the lower end ags, simmons, hawke, and nikko sterlings in fact i believe nikko have something to do with the sabre scopes.

So all together both gun and scope have been very impressive niether was my first choice i was going to get a weihrauch hw95k with a hawke 3-12x44 but i was given the webley/sabre combo as a birthday present and i'm really happy with it

The stocks seem to be a bit of a lottery there supposed to be turkish walnut but it seems that they just use whats available at the time I think my mrs paid £265 including the scope and a padded gunslip

On cocking there is a click i'd give it 7 out of 10 on firing the gun there is a twang but not the usual twang that carries over the fields just a slght twang in your ear not enough to cause a disturbance whilst huntin i'd give it a 9 out of 10
